Domingo De Cumbia invitan al próximo Cumbion en JAKI. Desde hace más que una década la madre de los cumbiones en Colonia les presenta artistas internacionales y talento local: Desde Colombia para las Americas, y desde allá, para la diáspora en Colonia. Con los clásicos de clásicos y los últimos temazos de la Cumbia les invitamos a subirse al trencito de la Cumbia para darte la fuga. Traíganse sus seres queridos y sacas sus pasos prohibidos. Prepárense para una noche inolvidable con el mejor sonido de Cumbia en la ciudad: 100% cumbias, 0% mamadas. Nos vemos en la pista!

DJ Chila del mar is a Peruvian interdisciplinary artist and cultural worker, currently based in Cologne. She builds her sets as affective storytelling, based in her own memories and embodied knowledge of dancing as a historical and community practice. Depending on the occasion, she blesses every set with an intention and navigates through different genres and times of the wide and complex spectrum of Latin American rhythms and sounds for dancing. For the party scenes, she is mostly approaching reggaeton, dembow, guaracha, club Latinx, Salsa Choke, Reparto, among other urban genres. She has developed and shared her DJ practice mostly in FLINTA spaces and contexts in Cologne such is Oya Müllem and in events in venues such as Kunsthafen, JAKI, among others. For this collaboration with Domingo de Cumbia, she will swim deep in the Pacific Peruvian coast towards the Ecuadorian line, to bring us Cumbia songs from that region where her roots lie and immerse us in a blend of South American cumbias from the past, present, futures.
