Who the hell is Team Dresch?
Team Dresch is a band from Portland, Oregon, who started playing together a few years ago, in 1993. Their 1994 album “Personal Best” was recently listed #48 on Rolling Stones “Best 100 Punk Albums of all time”, and they are still touring and making new music. The band is widely regarded as the most influential Queercore band from the US; their sound is a raw nerve angst infused punk grunge vocal harmony layered beautiful angry tender swirling mess of cool AF song dynamics and catchy AF anthems. The raw emotional honesty of their sound was also a formative inspiration for the emo genre. Their live shows are a family reunion; the music is the conduit for the life-affirming connection between the band and audience. Come see them for a group hug joyous mosh pit sing along at the top of your lungs experience like NO OTHER!

Songwriterpunk seit 2019
Darf man im taxi rauchen? Die Songwriterpunks Thore und Maurice aus Essen machen das seit 2019 auf ihre Weise: Indie-Alternative-Rock mit deutschen Texten, die aus ihren Herzen plaudern. Nuanciert bis plakativ, gutgefühlt bis schlechtgelaunt. Ihr zweites Album „Snabel“ schlägt einen Bogen über Subjektivitäten, verpasste Chancen, Hommagen an Idole und das Ankreiden von Fragwürdigkeiten. Musikalisch eine gesunde Mischung des eigenen Stils mit den Spuren ihrer Helden und Freunde, wovon sie sich sogar zwei auf die neue Platte eingeladen haben. Snabel ist ab dem 12. April 2024 bei Dackelton Records erschienen und auf allen gängigen Streamingplattformen, sowie als CD oder LP verfügbar.
