Neil Landstrumm has released records on a wide variety of electronic musics’ finest labels over the last two decades and is one of the true innovators in techno. Highlights include 12″s and LP’s for Peacefrog, Tresor and Planet Mu records and has recently released his tenth career LP , ‘Dragon Under’ on the UK’s Sneaker Social Club label. 2017 has seen a plethora of 12"s including synthwave and italo influenced releases on the Giallo Disco and Moustache records from the Clone family in Holland. Other note worthy collaborations have been with Optimo’s JD Twitch as Doubleheart, Sugar Experiment Station with Tobias Schmidt and Modini with Alan 'Hostage' Parley recently released on Dixon Avenue Basement Jams. Essentially a live hardware based artist since the beginning of his career, he has toured internationally for the last 20 years with regular events in Europe, Japan and China. Landstrumm also lived in New York for a number of years but is now based back in Edinburgh working from his own Witness Rooms studio. A pioneer of new electronic styles with a signature techno sound often copied and imitated, he has always been, and continues to be, a unique electronic artist. sYNTAX eRROR! Exactly this world of the deep and groovy techno music is the well-known territory of Syntax Error. Having started as techno DJ in the late 90ies, he soon found his very special sound favoring deep wobbly bass-lines, harsh snares, FM tones and drones, deep bass drums and tricky percussion. Like a syntax error, he breaks with commonplace regularities and creates a wholly new sound experience that is highly recognized within the techno scene. Up to 2019, he has produced over 20 different 12” releases on the labels Snork Enterprises, Feinwerk, Relax2000 and UNDERtheGROUND Records. Each of his releases is an authentic, passionate creation of sound always mirroring some experience from his personal life - whether it’s from his adventures as scuba diving tycoon, as sonar operator or as DJ and producer enthusiastically roaming the techno club scene in Germany and abroad. In 2018, he finally realized his dream and went on his first Japan tour performing amongst others in the well-known Contact Club in Tokyo and live on air on the famous Japanese media platform Dommune. cORA S.! Einige Jahre später zog sie nach Berlin und arbeitete u.a. im Hard Wax Recordstore, leitete den Vertrieb Possible Music, ihr Label mental.industries, den recordshop angry plastic und war Resident she-DJ im Ostgut Berlin.
