Aquabahn takes its name from the Drexciya track and operates as a platform for electro’s lineage in motion, bringing together pioneers, innovators, and contemporary artists who continue to extend the genre through new hybrids and forward-facing interpretations. The series traces electro not as a closed historical form, but as a living system entering its next phases.
Mechatronica operates as label, promoter, and collective across electro, techno, EBM, and synth wave, with a catalogue spanning artists including Koloah, PRZ, and Tresor's own Viikatory. Ten years in, their impact on the Berlin scene remains rooted in the same authenticity that defined them from the start.
