Als legitimer Nachfolger der legendären Bar 25 und des Kater Holzig ist das Kater Blau das Herzstück des Holzmarkt-Geländes. Der Club ist weltbekannt für seinen Tech-House-Sound und die mehrtägigen Partys, die oft von Freitag bis Montag durchlaufen. Die Optik ist typisch für die Berliner Gegenkultur: bunt, kreativ und aus Holz und Recycling-Materialien gebaut. Ein Highlight ist das fest verankerte Deck des Holzschiffes „Agnes“ im Außenbereich direkt an der Spree. Im Kater Blau wird Individualität großgeschrieben – bunte Outfits und Glitzer sind hier ausdrücklich erwünscht.
