Since 2011, CHARLIE has been Munich’s intimate house-music sanctuary, hidden in a former bowling alley beneath the city’s “ugliest building.” Its Turbosound 4-point system hits from all side, with dancers moving both in front of and behind the DJ. Organic drinks, vinyl-friendly gear, and a social price structure create a warm, open atmosphere. On Saturdays only, residents and international guests take the room deep into house in all its shades.
