Crossroads brings together two Munich-based South Asian bands for a night of music that crosses languages, regions, and styles. From Hindi/Urdu rock to Tamil fusion, expect familiar songs from some of South Asia’s most loved artists, reimagined live, bringing back the music, memories, and feeling of home many of us carry with us.
Panchi (Hindi/Urdu Rock)
Panchi (Hindi/Urdu for “bird,” a symbol of freedom and longing) is a five-piece Hindi/Urdu rock band from Munich. We put our own rock spin on Bollywood movie songs and pop favorites, blending driving guitar riffs and emotional melodies with influences from Hindustani classical and Sufi music, creating a sound that moves between atmospheric moments and full-on sing-along energy.
Musik Espresso (Indian fusion)
Musik Espresso is a Munich-based Indian band bringing together rich musical diversity with a strong Tamil core. Their repertoire spans timeless classics to contemporary hits, blending slow melodies, energetic rock, and bluesy grooves into a dynamic live experience. What began as a shared passion has evolved into a vibrant fusion of cultures, languages, and sounds, delivering performances that are both technically tight and emotionally resonant
