Okvsho ist das in Zürich ansässige Projekt der Brüder Georg und Christoph Kiss. Verwurzelt in Beatmaking, elektronischer Musik und modernem Jazz, haben sie sich in den letzten Jahren zu einem der markantesten Projekte aus der Schweiz entwickelt. Ein echtes Phänomen mit einer großen digitalen Anhängerschaft und einem Namen, der immer wieder unter Plattensammlern auftaucht. Von Orange Wine bis A Place Between Us baute das Duo eine stetig wachsende internationale Fangemeinde auf und entwickelte eine klare eigene Identität. Nach einer Europa-Headlinertournee 2025, die unter anderem ein ausverkauftes Konzert im legendären Londoner Jazz Cafe beinhaltete, kehrten sie ins Studio zurück – mit einem deutlicheren Gespür dafür, wo das Projekt angekommen war und wohin es sich als Nächstes entwickeln könnte. Das Ergebnis ist FROZEN FLASHES, ihr kommendes Album, das am 18. September 2026 erscheinen wird. Es markiert den nächsten Schritt eines Projekts, das kontinuierlich gewachsen ist, ohne seine Kante zu verlieren. Neben der Musik betreiben sie auch ihr Zürcher Label und Plattform Current Moves, über das sie sowohl eigene Werke als auch Musik anderer Künstler veröffentlichen. Okvsho +experience ist die fünfköpfige Liveband des Projekts. Geprägt von Improvisation, Vertrauen und der Idee von Jazz als Tanzmusik, bringt sie die Musik in ein Live-Setting, in dem jedes Konzert Raum für Spontaneität lässt. Genau das verleiht den Auftritten ihre Kraft. Auf dieser Tour kommt das neue Material voll zur Geltung. From Orange Wine to A Place Between Us, the duo built a growing international audience and developed a clear identity of their own. After a 2025 European headline tour that included a sold-out show at London’s legendary Jazz Cafe, they went back to the studio with a clearer sense of where the project had arrived and where it could go next. The result is FROZEN FLASHES, their upcoming album, which will be released on 18 September 2026. It marks the next step in a project that has grown steadily without losing its edge. Alongside the music, they also run Current Moves, their Zurich-based label and platform, through which they release their own work as well as music by other artists.
